Eva Mendes is an American actor and model. She was spotted by a talent agency who recognized her potential and persuaded her to choose a career in the entertainment industry. She dropped out of university after much deliberation to make a move into entertainment. She made her debut with the movie Children of the Corn V: Fields of Terror and she was dissatisfied with her performance. It took her quite a long time to develop her acting abilities and appeared in several low-budget productions order to demonstrate her abilities. She persevered and her will power proved fruitful. Through the film Training Day she gained fame and was praised by critics. It was at this point that her career in acting took off. The most well-known films she has appeared in are 2 Fast2Furious, The Hitch, Ghost Rider Bad Lieutenant Port of Call New Orleans, and Holy Motors.
